About Us

Ambassadors in ministry (AIM) came about because of a childhood passion of helping the underprivileged improve their livelihoods through the acquisition of skills with Christ being the Central focus. As a child, I grew up in a community surrounded by poverty. Most of the children I played with, came from extremely poor families who could barely provide food, clothing, and an education for their loved ones. I was privileged to come from a home of working parents who provided my basic needs. Even as a child, I was conscious of the effects of poverty in these families. I was troubled each day by my surroundings, as I witnessed what it meant for others to wish for a better life.

Then, I began to do something not many young teenagers were doing at that time. I started sharing my food and knowledge with the children in my neighborhood and turned our garage into a makeshift school teaching the alphabet and numbers. This later opened the opportunity for me to take these children to my church and Sunday school programs. That was a period of joy for me until the sound of war broke out through the streets of Monrovia.

As the sound of bullets got closer and closer, I became overtaken by fear and anxiety. I was the oldest of my siblings which made me more aware of the danger.
Then the war intensified and spread into my community, I was separated from my entire family including my mom and siblings. It was the hardest time in my life being without family, food and the safety and warmth of my home. I realized then, what it really felt like to be hungry, without clothes, shoes, and a safe place to sleep.
I saw many children in my situation and felt very sad. I prayed to God to save my life and reunite me with my family and promised that if He did, I would dedicate my life in service to him. The Lord heard my prayer and that began my enthusiastic journey with the Lord. Years later, I moved to the United States where I studied nursing, got married, and had children of my own. I enrolled in small group bible study and began to study and grow deeply in the word of God.

As I continue to meet and interact with people who share my passion and vision, I have been very blessed. Through their goodwill, enthusiasm, and encouragement, AIM has been able to provide life changing Bible study programs for men, women, and children of all ages. Along with a thriving feeding program, we also offer educational scholarships, and empowerment training courses in sewing, soap making, catering, and much more. In all these activities, the love of Christ and the life-giving message of the Gospel has been shared to every person.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see the next generation live with Christ-centered life that is free from poverty.

Our faith statement: Beautiful are feet of the messengers who bring good news. Romans 10:15

Our belief is that with God all things are possible.

Scripture declares ‘’With God all things are possible.’’ Matthew19:26

Our goal is to see a decrease in poverty while increasing the biblical standard of living.

Transforming lives through God's word

It's very important to study the Bible because God's word guides us in the right direction in life. It lights the way ahead of us so that we can see clearly which way to go. Through every season of our life, we can be confident that God is always leading us through His word.

AIM focusses on Bible studies all across Liberia. God transform lives as we teach individual and group bible studies.
